Compassionate use permits

In special circumstances and to a limited degree, we may authorise the sale or dispensing of medicines which are not marketed in Denmark. This requires a compassionate use permit for the medicine.

Physicians, veterinarians and dentists may apply to us for a compassionate use permit for both human and veterinary medicines.  

The application forms are only available in Danish. Find them in the menu to the left.

The applicant will receive a reply to the application by post. The applicant must notify the pharmacy himself by attaching a copy of the compassionate use permit to the prescription.
